Finally, it’s spring! Come celebrate with the Renaissance City Winds in a voyage of discovery. Our May 9 performance in the intimate Panza Gallery in Millvale features exotic music from the Balkans. Most of these composers’ works are virtually unknown in western Europe and the United State. In tribute to Millvale’s St. Nicholas Church, site of the spectacular murals by Maxo Vanka, the program will feature Croatian music as well as pieces from Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, and Turkey.
