Renaissance City Wind Music Society

The Renaissance City Wind Music Society was incorporated in 1983 to promote chamber music for wind instruments by sponsoring concerts, recordings, and broadcasts.  Its projects include presenting the Winds’ winter concert series and Music for Neighborhoods, arranging Winds tours throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and producing CDs.  The Society is a non-profit corporation in Pennsylvania and recognized as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization by the IRS. Anyone can join the Society by making a contribution of $25 or more*; each June there is an annual meeting where the members elect a community-based board of directors, which governs the organization.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Renaissance City Wind Music Society is to promote the best in wind chamber music, with an emphasis on American music, through presenting concerts and educational programs, producing recordings, commissioning new works, and collaborating with other artists.
